Antagonistic Effect of Ps.aeruginosa Against some Gram Positive Cocci and Gram Negative Bacilli Shown by Means of in Vitro Method


Abstract
The study was attempted to see more clear antagonistic relationship from mixed culture among the some Gram positive cocci and Gram negative bacilli.
The antagonistic relationship has been followed between Ps.aeruginosa and each other bacteria from clinical sources.
1. Psaeruginosa showed inhibitory effect against both S.aureus and S.epidermidis, but not showed such effect against Pr.vulgaris,
E.coli and Psaeruginosa in the mixed culture.
2. In the re3ult of mixed culture of Ps.aeruginosa 1 and S.aureus 17, S.aureus 16 were inhibited by Ps.aeruginosa after 24 hours.
